We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our company. We are a Leading IT company who is working with the latest, indoor-outdoor location technologies, to create a unique customer experience. One of our Directors, Gary Ashfield has been part of the Golf Industry for over 30 years and has developed some of Europe’s and the Middle East’s finest Golf projects, from Construction through to maintenance and club operations.

When it comes to IT, we have been continually working with various industries from the Oil & energy, Retail, Government, Public amenities, Hotels, and the Leisure industry. Providing IT solutions and more importantly now, location based IT solutions, utilising bespoke applications for our customer’s businesses.

From our love of Golf and our network of connections within the Golf Industry, it became obvious to us how limited most Golf App’s really are and what value do they give back to the golf club itself. Most Apps covered the obvious factors, for the attending players or members, but nearly all offered no real feed back to the Club, or Resorts owners. These App’s offers no opportunity for the club to interact in real time with their Guests or Members. At present, most members or guests enter a facility and you only become aware when they reach the reception or interacts directly with your staff.

Here at Loc-bee Golf, we have been able to integrate our location technology, in order that it works seamlessly with the Clubs App. Thus, meaning that the Club is informed as soon as a member or Guest enters through the main gates or parks their car in the car park. For a start; this gives you the ability to send a personal greeting automatically tailored to that member or guest on arrival. Alerting your staff when a guest arrives.

The app comes with an easy to use administration platform, where the clubs staff can at any moment, day, event, inform/message their guests or members, set notifications to update the player on any shop sales, food and beverage specials, events, competitions, or facility protocols. The benefit for the club’s management is that you will see live data via your easy to use Dashboard interface, on how your Members or Guests are using your facility. From the Dashboard you will see where the most utilised areas are, underutilised areas, and what is popular and not. It will also provide your management with internal time and motion information on various club operations. Once you have this information you are then able to use the App in a more bespoke manor too create personal guest experiences, whilst improving daily operational activities.

We believe at Loc-bee Golf, any Apps should be beneficial for the provider and the user and not just a one-way application. Over the next few pages we will describe in further detail how the new generation of Apps work with beacon location technology.

Loc-bee introduced its information location technology and integrated this within a mobile application, complemented with indoor and outdoor navigation. Our solutions with localised information, enhance customer App experiences, whilst providing outstanding sales opportunities, ensuring your customers enjoy the best on site experiences possible.

Our App’s are also designed for your staff as well as the club visitors. This allows chosen members of staff, the ability to use the App to tailor the guest experience as per the time of year, day or to the weekly events. Your members can now get instant updates about events, make dining reservations, invite a fellow member for a friendly round of golf, reserve a tee time or access their personal club account information, all these services being available at their fingertips. Additional personalised services for members, are also made simple through Smart Alerts and push notifications, aided by the integration of our location based technology.

  • Improved operating tools
    Identify staff positions on the facility map included with the club’s admin platform program, (Live Map). Provides a new perspective in time and motion management. Better choices, faster implementation, real time sharing of information and a more precise control of your business or events.
  • New experiences for visitors
    With our system, you can easily communicate with customers, with actions and relevant advertisements, always tailored to the most appropriate place and time. Guests may be automatically checked in at the restaurants or any other services they have booked.
  • A digital companion during the visit
    Guests can always get help when they can easily access information. They can easily find products at the pro shop or find and order items at the clubs web shop, receive guidance or personalised information relevant for them, or for the event their attending.
  • Creating a completely new “profit centre"
    Club owners and Marketers will have access to a new interface with the application, that can show the most relevant ads, brands or sponsoring partners on theirs and more importantly their member or guests mobile devices. Either timed, location sensitive or automatically, that is the beauty of our admin software and easy to use platform.

Main modules

  • Live map - An indoor navigation solution that allows you to display your retail stores, restaurants, halfway house or kiosks, as well as providing directions for users. The club also can see in real time where their customers are and what trends they follow, where is used and where not. Traffic flow.

  • Location-based sales campaigns - Location dependent data access eg. Make available information about current offers and products close to certain practice areas, restaurants, outlets, even down to brand promotions with real time product information. E.g. I'm looking at a driver and in real time I receive a notification with the Drivers specification and consumer review.
  • Assistance Button - The module allows the user to request assistance within the applications security service, which automatically includes the position provided by the nearest beacon, thus helping to identify the clubs staff of the person requiring assistance within the club or venue. This feature makes for a safer environment, improves crowd control, or response time to an injured player or visitor out on the course, all now possible in real time.
  • Emergency protocols for fire or evacuation - Automatic instructions, directed escape routes, customisable alerts and instructions for guests and members, all at their finger tips.
  • Task handling - Circular paths, setting specific or repetitive tasks using control technologies and localisation. For job site linked lists.
  • Digital Signage integration - Our system can be integrated with most of the DS system, which allows for information to be easily shared between mobile phones and displays. Display custom messages in case of an emergency, provide a map, or just announcing meeting location information for guest or conference attendees.
  • Heatmap and Analytics - Typical visitor routes, staff movement. Identifying Cold or hot usage outlets, kiosks / areas, frequency of use. Statistics of typical customers movements, time spent and the movement of participants at the various locations, performance of staff duties, etc.
  • Multilingualism - Be able to inform your customers in multiple languages, aid their movements, appreciation of a real time understanding of their habits.
