FEATURES
Enhanced Visitor Experience
Visitors using Locbee on their smartphone are automatically alerted when they approach special places that have additional content available.
Guided Tour Options
Interesting venues can create multiple tours including multi-language tours, docent tours, interest-specific tours, artist-narrated tours or any other tour type that is of interest to the audience.
Marketing
Participating venues can reconnect with visitors to provide updates for events, new exhibits, donation options, discounts and other news. In-app messaging delivers promotions to drive gift shop visits and online purchases.
Analytics
Visitor analytics provides who, when and how frequently visitors are engaging with the venue - down to the exhibit level. Participating locations can log in to their content management system (CMS) and view data that helps drive visitor flow and placement decisions.
Social
Social sharing is integrated into the app and provides a channel for visitors to share content with their networks - expanding the venue's reach. Visitors can share via Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest.
Content
Venues have complete control over the content presented on Locbee. The app supports as audio, video, text and photos, allowing the customers to create a multimedia experience for visitors.

Diocesan Museum

Diocesan Museum

One of the earliest uses of iBeacon technology in Hungary was the Diocesan Museum of Székesfehérvár initiative to offer customers guided tour on their mobile devices. They would like to provide relevant content to customers based on their location and test the proximity based solutions capabilities.

Starting June 12, 2014 visitors to the museum were invited to play an interactive game as they walked around the exhibits. This game called Mission Eureka is played with an iPad that senses your location in the museum with bluetooth signals, and can be played with 2, 3, or 4 people.

Back when Shaquille O'Neil played for the Magic, fans still printed out MapQuest to make their way to the stadium. Fast forward to April 15th 2014 and 20 iBeacons have been installed in Orlando's Amway center and the bluetooth technology has been built into the organizations app. "The Magic is committed to our fans and their experience in our building and we are continually looking for ways to take these areas to another level," .
